D3.1 Study Submission Package
The Clinical Study (AVITHRAPID-TRIAL) has been designed according to current clinical epidemiological data coming from Zika Virus (ZIKV) endemic countries particularly in South America, using the previously identified compound with in vitro and in vivo efficacy data on ZIKV. The protocol design process began, and at the same time, a detailed analysis of compound safety was performed.

D4.1 Bioinformatic pipelines for de-novo and reference-based assembly
This deliverable summarizes the achievements of WP4 in the areas of sequence analysis, next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, and genomics, with a focus on viral pathogens such as Dengue Virus (DENV) and SARS-CoV-2. The work leveraged high-throughput sequencing, advanced bioinformatics pipelines, and structural mapping to identify conserved regions, mutations, and potential therapeutic targets. Key outcomes include large-scale genomic analyses, phylogenetic clustering, and integration of NGS data for outbreak investigation and drug discovery.
D4.2 Bioinformatic pipeline for homology modelling and MD simulations
This deliverable summarizes the application of advanced in silico methods within WP4 to accelerate drug discovery against viral pathogens. The work integrates homology modelling, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, binding site mapping, high-performance computing (HPC) workflows, and machine learning models. These computational approaches enabled the identification and prioritization of potential inhibitors for Dengue Virus (DENV) and SARS-CoV-2, supporting experimental validation and therapeutic development.
D5.2 Production of Fusogenic Liposomes
The development of an adequate drug delivery system represents a critical juncture in the drug discovery process. In alignment with the expertise and contributions of the other members of the AVITHRAPID Working Group 5, it has been determined that a formulation capable of adaptation to a diverse array of drugs and applications, while simultaneously embodying innovative characteristics, would be a valuable addition to the field.
D7.3 Resource dissemination into community
This deliverable describes the workflows and resources developed under WP7 to enable structured data collection, processing, analysis, and modelisation within AVITHRAPID. It outlines how these workflows support FAIR data management and how the resulting outputs are made accessible to the wider scientific community.
D8.1 Risk Management Strategy
Within the risk management strategy of AVITHRAPID, we have identified several risks for each work package as well as a mitigation strategy for each single risk. Moreover, we have agreed on a strategy for identifying and communicating risks within the consortium. This will enable an early detection of potential problems in advance as well as provide a process for the development of potential mitigation strategies.
D8.2 Ethics Deliverable
Research activities must be carried out according to the highest ethical standards and have to ensure compliance with the applicable laws on ethical principles. This is in particular important for clinical trials involving human subjects, but also for applying methods such as artificial intelligence (AI) adhere to the European Commission Guidance on AI. This deliverable addresses ethical issues.
D7.2 Updated Data Management Plan
The initial Data Management Plan (DMP), as outlined in Deliverable 7.1, provided foundational guidance with minimal details on folder organization and adherence to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reproducible). Recognizing the need for more comprehensive data governance, the updated version of the DMP has been significantly enhanced to address critical gaps and improve usability.
In the revised DMP, we have placed a stronger emphasis on cataloging experimental workflows and their corresponding data file formats.
D6.1 Project-Dedicated Public Website and Social Media Accounts
This report elaborates on the development and implementation of a comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy as part of Tasks 6.1 and 6.2. This strategy is aimed at bolstering the visibility and impact of the AVITHRAPID project through a dedicated website and targeted social media engagement, focusing on scientific communities, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and the broader public.
D6.2 Dissemination and communication activities
The aim of the document is to distribute knowledge about the project’s outputs, innovation potential, and business opportunities to all relevant stakeholders. The strategy will target arenas that define legislation and standards directly affecting the project and its outcomes. It must be adapted to present relevant information at the right time, place, and context to ensure the broadest diffusion. To ensure maximum visibility and impact, dissemination activities will be integrated across all work packages. These activities will be specifically tailored to enhance the accessibility of project outcomes to various target stakeholders.The objectives of the dissemination activities include setting up a strategy for main tasks that need to be addressed and decisions that belong to each task.
D7.1 Data Management Plan
A Data Management Plan (DMP) is a crucial component of any research project, outlining how data will be handled both during and after the project. It ensures that data is well-organized, accessible, and reusable, enhancing the integrity and reproducibility of research findings. The AVITHRAPID DMP (Version 1) was written by the Fraunhofer. The AVITHRAPID DMP is a ‘living’ document that outlines how the project data is handled during and after the project completion, and so it will be regularly evaluated for effectiveness and will be updated, when necessary, by the Fraunhofer.
D7.3 Resource dissemination into community
Deliverable “Resource dissemination into community” describes the workflows and resources developed under WP7 to enable structured data collection, processing, analysis, and modelisation within AVITHRAPID. It outlines how these workflows support FAIR data management and how the resulting outputs are made accessible to the wider scientific community. The deliverable serves two main purposes. First, it documents the practical implementation of WP7 activities, presenting the tools and workflows that operationalise the project’s FAIR data management strategy. Second, it demonstrates how these resources are being disseminated to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and reuse.
